When you post on your business page wall, it has the opportunity to appear in the news feed of the people who like your page. But, because of Facebook's edgerank algorithm, it is not guaranteed to show in your fans news feed. You can get more information. I posted an article featuring my debut book on my business (administrator) page; will it automatically show up on everyone's wall who has liked me? Also, how do I post the same information, so that it shows on all my friends individual walls?

One difference that you will see between Facebook Profiles and Facebook Pages is that when you see a Facebook Page, you will have the option of “liking” that page. When you like a Facebook Page, you are basically following the updates of a business or brand. On a Facebook Profile, instead of the “Like” button, you will see the “Add Friend” button. When
you add a friend, you will be following the updates of an individual person.

Great explanation of facebook marketing tools. One obvious requirement for marketing on Facebook is consistently posting interesting content on your Facebook Page.

HI Karl - this is because not all posts appear on the newsfeed of your connected friends, fans, and group members. What appears in the newsfeed is determined by Facebook's Edgerank algorithm (more details on that here: http://www.copypress.com/blog/.... However, you are correct that she can check your wall to be certain she is seeing all your posts...all posts that you do will appear there and (depending on the permissions you have set regarding the visibility of your posts) be visible by your Facebook friends.

My posts don't appear on my newsfeed, only on my wall. When I check my wife's newsfeed, the post is not there either. She has to check my wall to see it.

Usually it does...but it may not always be visible. It will always appear on your wall so just navigate to your profile and you will see your post.

Really good tips. I had read about it and found your article when I did a couple more searches. I find a lot of companies and people don't fill this out and I am guessing they miss business due to this.

Just one more thing. It allows me to change my page name if I were to add a "full stop" at the end of the name eg. "Harman Enterprises." As opposed to just "Harmon enterprise" It's very weird :(

Hi for some reason my FB username is already correct without me setting it. ie similar to your example above it already is "harmonenterprises". This is great however when I want to put a space bar between the name ie. I want to change the page name it does not allow me. Message received is "Our automated system will not allow that name." I only have 2 likes so since this name is not unique, why does it not allow me to do it? Thanks for helping

If you post on your newsfeed, it will show on your wall. Your newsfeed is specific to you. If you want it to appear on your daughters wall, you need to navigate to her profile, and post your message on her wall.

Fantastic idea! from a consumer point of view I find the branded yet personalized profile pictures great. It helps us identify those who are professionals and care enough to put money and effort into having a stylish and professional FB page. Best of luck with this project!
